  • 1 cup Ghirardelli dark chocolate melting wafers (or white chocolate wafers)
  • 1/2 cup sprinkles (optional)

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silpat baking mat.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar together until creamy.
  3. Add in the egg yolk, vanilla extract, almond extract, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  4. Gradually add in the flour until blended.
  5. Use a small cookie scoop to drop about 1 tablespoon of cookie dough onto the baking sheet. You can also use a large piping bag with an open star tip if you prefer.
