It’s easy to prepare and makes for a perfect snack, appetizer, or even a light meal. The air fryer gives the ravioli a crispy texture without all the extra oil traditionally needed for frying. Plus, they are loaded with flavor and can be served with your choice of dipping sauce, making them a crowd-pleaser for both kids and adults.

How to Make Air Fryer Ravioli

Ingredients:

  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp. whole milk
  • 1 cup Italian bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan, plus more for serving
  • 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 (20-oz.) package refrigerated ravioli
  • Cooking spray
  • Pesto or marinara, for serving

Directions:

  1. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined.
  2. In another shallow bowl, mix the Italian bread crumbs and grated Parmesan. Season this mixture with kosher salt and a few grinds of black pepper.
  3. Take one ravioli at a time and dip it into the egg mixture, making sure it’s fully coated. Next, place it into the bread crumb mixture and press down to help the crumbs stick. For extra crispiness, dip it back into the egg mixture.
  4. Place the coated ravioli on a plate.
  5. Lightly coat the air-fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange the ravioli in the basket, spacing them about 1/4 inch apart. Spray the tops of the ravioli with more cooking spray.
  6. Set the air fryer to 400°F and cook for about 7 minutes, flipping the ravioli halfway through and spraying again with cooking spray until they are golden and cooked through.
  7. Once done, arrange the ravioli on a platter. Top with more grated Parmesan and serve warm with pesto or marinara for dipping.

Serve Air Fryer Ravioli warm, straight from the air fryer. They pair well with a side of pesto or marinara sauce for dipping. You can also sprinkle additional grated Parmesan cheese over the top for a flavorful finish. This dish is great for game day, parties, or as a family snack.

If you have leftovers, allow them to cool to room temperature and then store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They can be kept for up to 3 days. To reheat, you can place them back in the air fryer for a few minutes to regain their crispy texture.
