Method
Cooking the Macaroni
- Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
Cooking the Beef and Vegetables
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and green bell pepper to the skillet. Sauté until the vegetables are tender.
Combining Ingredients
- Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Add the cooked macaroni to the skillet and combine everything together.
Serving
- Serve hot, and if you like, top with grated Parmesan cheese.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, warm on the stovetop or in the microwave, adding water or broth if it gets too thick.
