  • 15.25 oz white cake mix Use a standard box of white cake mix.
  • 2 large eggs Room temperature eggs are recommended.
  • 0.5 cup oil Vegetable oil works well.
  • 8 drops green food coloring Adjust the amount for desired color intensity.
  • 2.5 oz Christmas sprinkles Any festive sprinkles can be used.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, oil, and eggs. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Add the green food coloring to the dough and stir until evenly distributed.
Shaping and Baking
  1. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, portion the dough and roll into balls.
  2. Dip the rounded side of each ball into the Christmas sprinkles, then place them sprinkle side up on the lined baking sheet, keeping them 2-3 inches apart.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes until the edges are slightly golden.
  4. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.

Notes

Allow cookies to cool completely for the best texture. These cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
