Ingredients
  

For the Crust
  • 1 cup chocolate chip cookie dough Store-bought or homemade
For the Cream Cheese Layer
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Leave at room temperature for 30 minutes before using
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped cream Can use store-bought or homemade
For the Topping
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Mini chocolate chips can be used for variation
  • 1/2 cup chocolate sauce For drizzling on top

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Press the chocolate chip cookie dough into the bottom of a greased 9-inch square baking dish to form the crust.
  3. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until lightly golden. Let cool.
Cream Cheese Mixture
  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. Fold in the whipped cream until well combined.
Assembly
  1. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled cookie crust.
  2. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and drizzle with chocolate sauce.
  3. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Serve chilled and can be cut into squares or scooped out. Pairs well with ice cream or coffee. Garnish with fresh berries or extra chocolate sauce if desired. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
