  • 1 cup Creamy caramel sauce Reserve some for drizzling on top.
  • 1 cup Toasted pecans Chopped for added crunch.
Liquid Ingredients
  • 3 large Eggs Room temperature for better mixing.
  • 1 cup Milk Can substitute with almond milk for a dairy-free version.
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable oil For moisture.
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract Enhances flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients: eggs, sugar, vanilla, and milk until smooth.
Mixing and Layering
  1. Slowly add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until fully combined.
  2. Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  3. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the batter and sprinkle with toasted pecans.
  4. Pour the remaining batter on top and finish with the rest of the caramel and pecans.
Baking
  1. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  2. Allow the cake to cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
  3. Drizzle with extra caramel for presentation.

Notes

To ensure the cake is moist, avoid overmixing. Bake gently without opening the oven door.
