Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 0.5 cups unsalted butter, room temperature Use room temperature for best results.
  • 0.5 cups light brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 6 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Mix-Ins
  • 1.5 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 0.5 cups M&Ms, red and green
  • 0.33 cups sprinkles of choice, red and green

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the room temperature butter with the light brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until just combined.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture, stirring gently until incorporated.
Mixing
  1. Fold in semisweet chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, M&Ms, and sprinkles using a rubber spatula.
  2. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spaced about 2 inches apart.
Baking
  1. Bake the cookies for 10-13 minutes or until lightly browned around the edges.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature butter and avoid overmixing the dough.
