Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, beat the room temperature butter with the light brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until just combined.
- Gradually add the flour mixture, stirring gently until incorporated.
Mixing
- Fold in semisweet chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, M&Ms, and sprinkles using a rubber spatula.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spaced about 2 inches apart.
Baking
- Bake the cookies for 10-13 minutes or until lightly browned around the edges.
- Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
For best results, use room temperature butter and avoid overmixing the dough.
