Ingredients
  

  • 2 English cucumbers
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon dill
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • ½ red onion optional

Method
 

  1. Peel the cucumbers and slice into thin rounds. Place them in a large bowl.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together sour cream, dill, vinegar, salt, garlic powder, and sugar until well combined.
  3. Pour the dressing over the cucumbers and mix until evenly coated.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour to let flavors meld.
  5. Stir gently before serving and garnish with extra dill or paprika if desired.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream.
  • Slice cucumbers evenly and drain excess liquid to prevent sogginess.
  • Optional additions: diced tomatoes, bell peppers, avocado, or a pinch of cayenne.
