  • 2 cups cooked pasta Ensure pasta is cooked but not overdone
  • 1 cup marinara sauce Can be substituted with Alfredo or pesto
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese For topping
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese For topping
  • to taste leaves fresh basil For garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta and marinara sauce.
  3. Stir until the pasta is evenly coated with the sauce.
  4. Transfer the pasta mixture into a baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top, followed by the grated Parmesan cheese.
Baking
  1. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  2. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
  3. Garnish with fresh basil leaves to add a pop of color and flavor.

Notes

Make sure not to overcook the pasta before mixing it with the sauce. You can switch the marinara sauce for Alfredo or pesto, depending on your taste preference. Feel free to add cooked chicken or ground beef for added protein.
