Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork.
- Mix in the peanut butter, sugars, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
- Add baking soda and salt, then mix in the flour until just incorporated.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Baking
- Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cooling
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
