  • 0.5 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder Can substitute with fresh garlic if desired.
  • 0.25 teaspoon pepper Freshly ground pepper is recommended.
  • 0.33 cup panko breadcrumbs Adds a crispy texture.
  • 0.33 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided Reserve part for garnish.
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese For garnish.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the trimmed and halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil and melted butter.
  3. Season with salt, garlic powder, and pepper, then mix thoroughly to coat evenly.
  4. Add the panko breadcrumbs and 1/3 cup of grated Parmesan cheese and stir until everything is coated evenly.
Cooking
  1. Spread the Brussels sprouts mixture onto a baking sheet in a single layer.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 18 to 23 minutes, turning halfway through until they are browned and fork-tender.
  3. Sprinkle the remaining 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese over the cooked Brussels sprouts before serving.

Notes

Feel free to adjust seasonings to your taste. For added flavor, consider tossing in some cooked bacon or pancetta or using various vegetables alongside the Brussels sprouts.
