Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the avocado in a bowl.
  2. Add the chili flakes, garlic (if using), lime juice, salt, and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
  3. Mash everything together with a fork until you reach your desired consistency—chunky or smooth.
  4. Spread the avocado mixture on the toasted sourdough.
  5. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.

Notes

Serve the smashed avocado on toast immediately for the best flavor. You can add extra toppings like sliced tomatoes, radishes, or a poached egg for added flavor. Leftover avocado can be stored in an airtight container for up to a day.
